Begun by Charlie and Pam Stanton, over 20 years ago, Mbalabala Safaris offers a unique hunting experience in the southern part of Zimbabwe. The hunting season takes place during the winter months, between April and October, when the bush is sparse, water scarce and the game is in perfect condition.

Concessions include 2 family properties:

Limerick in Mbalabala, the family’s home since 1945, and Mashura, in the West Nicholson area, belonging to Lindon Stanton (Snr.), Charlie’s older brother.

Other hunting is sourced from a number of privately owned game and cattle ranches in the south western districts of Matabeleland South. Leopard and Plains Game are the major attractions of our safaris. The list of available animals can be found on our Enquiry Form. Clients are accommodated in the Farm Homestead (Limerick) and at a reed and tented camp on the banks of a farm dam (Mashura).
