My introduction to African Safari Hunting was with Lindon Stanton and after several trips I have now hunted 62 days with him. Lindons unique skill is quality trophy recognition on sighting and doggedness in obtaining better than average trophies. He will not tire at trying to put your dreams into action using his vast array of skills and competence. The Mbalabala experience gives you the entree into Africa backed by a wonderful family team inclusion and you will quickly become one of the family.

Would just like to send a big thanks to Mbalabala Safaris for the times they have taken us on safari. We would definetely recommend Lindon and Mbalabala Safari’s to anyone who’s keen on shooting the African game. Big thanks to Lindon and all the trackers for always providing their expert opinions and advice while on the hunt making the experience all the more better. Keep up the good work!
My first experience with Africa and African hunting was with Mbalabala Safari’s and the Stanton family in July of 2001. It was an experience that changed my hunting goals forever and causes my mind to frequently drift back to Zimbabwe. As plainsgame safari’s go, it was a dream hunt and I took fourteen animals of thirteen different species. The highlight of the safari had to be the beautiful 55” Kudu that I took half way through the ten day hunt. I actually think Lindon was more excited than I was.
In 2004 I returned to South Africa for another plainsgame safari and it didn’t take me long to realize that I had made a mistake in not returning to Zimbabwe. So, in May of 2010 I did just that and returned to hunt Leopard and Sable with the Stanton’s. I had another great hunt netting a beautiful Sable, Waterbuck, Klipspringer and Zebra. I did not take a Leopard on that hunt, but it was not due to lack of Leopards or effort, simply a lack of luck.
I plan on returning to hunt with Lindon in 2012 so we can settle the score with “Mr. Spots”. If you are looking for comfortable bush camps with good food, hard working P.H.’s and ample amounts of game, then I would highly recommend a hunt with Mbalabala Safari’s.
